Senior Project Accountant - Type 26 Programme

BAE Systems Maritime Naval Ships business is currently offering an exciting finance opportunity for a Senior Project Accountant based at our Scotstoun site.

The Naval Ships Finance Function strives to provide value adding, fully integrated business support to its project delivery and business support teams. Through the promotion of continuous improvement it informs business decision making and provides focus on the achievement of financial objectives.

As a Senior Project Accountant, you will be will supporting the Type 26 Programme - We are currently in the Manufacturing phase of an initial 3 ship contract for the City Class Type 26 Global Combat Ships for the Royal Navy. The multi-million pound contract will enable the replacement of the Royal Navy's Type 23 frigates, with the first set to enter service in the 2020s and the last remaining in service beyond the middle of the century.
