ABOUT THE POSITION
The Commercial Lead performs the dual role of QS and Estimator, with the responsibility for accurate financial execution of the works, correct and timeous valuations, preparing detailed claims, negotiation, reconciliation, and balancing cash-flows.
The role reports to Project Manager (Site) & Senior Commercial Manager (Functional); travel to other sites may be required.
Take responsibility for the entire commercial function reporting directly to the Project Manager and Commercial function.
Oversee valuation, applications for payment and settlement of subcontract accounts
Own and manage all aspects of contract change Lead commercial negotiations with the customer and supply chain
Make the case for Capex expenditure and prepare cost/benefit analyses
Represent the business at meetings, workshops and forums forming good working relationships and maintaining a proactive approach to commercial issues and initiatives. ...
