Pertemps Scotland Ltd are working with our Public Sector client in Glasgow to recruit for a Procurement /Purchasing Officer on a temporary basis.

Due to current circumstances this role will be based remotely.
Hourly rate - £14.34 - £15.66

Assist the Performance Improvement Officer to ensure that high quality services and best value are delivered to service users by ensuring that all agreed plans are implemented efficiently and effectively.

Main responsibilities
To work with service departments on carrying out needs assessment prior to the making of sourcing decisions
Carrying out procurement research on individual suppliers and markets and carrying out analysis to inform sourcing strategy.
Recommending specific procurement routes for categories of service, commodity or works or specific contracts.
Responsible for the procurement process, including advertisement, compiling pre-qualification questionnaires, issuing and evaluation of contract documents ...
