Group Accountant - Glasgow

Bright Purple resourcing is looking to source a chartered and experienced Financial Accountant on behalf of a very prestigious hotel owner and operator. This role will be a 9-12 month maternity cover and will be based in Glasgow after lockdown.

As the Group Accountant for the chain, you will be responsible for the full accounting life cycle and report to the Financial Director. You will have strong commercial experience as a financial controller/accountant and have all relevant qualifications and ideally experience gained in large retail or hospitality environment.

You will bring sound knowledge of payroll, accounts payable, credit control, fixed assets, bank and cash principles to the role.

Good system knowledge of Sage/Xero would be beneficial.
