Pertemps Scotland Ltd are working with our client in Glasgow to recruit for Corporate Accountant on a temporary basis for 3 - 6 Months.

The role is full time and Day Rate is £150 - £200.
Due to current circumstances the role will be working from home.

As an Accountant within the Corporate Team you will report to the Corporate Accountancy Team Leader and assist in carrying out the functions of the team to ensure the overall council objectives are achieved.

You will be expected to demonstrate and complete the following responsibilities and activities:
Manage the organisations asset register ensuring assets are recorded in compliance with the Accounting Code of Practice and IFRS requirements
Prepare and monitor the capital budget for the council, liaising with services and providing advice on capital bids and projects
Manage the accounts payable team ensuring invoices are processed promptly and provide support as required
