B3 Policy and Communications Officers

Pertemps Scotland Ltd are working with our client in Glasgow and Edinburgh recruit for an experienced Policy and Communications Officers in the Public Sector on a temporary basis for 6 Months with potential extension.

Due to current circumstances this role will be based remotely.

Hourly Rate £19.95 (37.00 per week)

Main Duties:
Manage and develop policy in key areas of the Covid-19 response, using evidence and drawing on scientific, clinical or specialist expertise as appropriate;
Provide high quality advice, and briefing to Ministers, often at short notice to tight timelines;
Initiate, develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
Proactively identify and address risks and opportunities within the policy area;
Providing line management and support to junior colleagues.
